By using Palabud you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Palabud is a platform where people share personal recommendations. All recommendations, rankings, tips, and photos are user opinions, not statements of fact by Palabud. Leaderboards are automated aggregations of those opinions. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any venue, its food, hygiene, pricing, or availability.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your email access secure.
You keep ownership of the content you post (recs, tips, captions, photos, and anything else you share). So that Palabud can operate and grow, you grant Palabud a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, perpetual, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, use, store, copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display and perform, modify, adapt, translate, run, create derivative works of, aggregate, analyze, and otherwise use your content, and any data derived from it, in any media or technology now known or later developed, for any purpose, including operating, personalizing, promoting, improving, developing, and commercializing Palabud and its current and future products and services, and creating aggregated, anonymized, or derived data, insights, and products.
You also grant Palabud permission to use your name, username, profile picture, and information about your activity on the service (such as your recs, likes, and follows) in connection with the service, including in recommendations, rankings, link previews, promotions, and sponsored or commercial content, without payment to you.
When you delete content or your account, this license ends for that content as displayed on the service, except where the content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, where it is held in backups and safety archives for a limited time, or where it lives on in aggregated, anonymized, or derived form, for which the license continues. Food place records you added (a name and address) stay on the service so that other people's recommendations of those places are not destroyed.
Breaking any of the rules below may lead to removal of your content and to suspension or termination of your account, with or without notice.
We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion, with or without notice, including to protect leaderboard integrity.
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Visiting any venue is at your own risk. We are not responsible for allergies, food safety, closures, wrong addresses, or any outcome of following a recommendation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Palabud is not liable for any damages of any kind arising from your use of the service, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential.
You will indemnify Palabud against claims arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.
You may stop using the service anytime and delete your account in Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and your content from Palabud at once. Copies may remain in our backups and safety archives for up to 30 days before they are permanently erased. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.
Palabud may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Material changes will be signposted in the app.
Palabud may assign or transfer these Terms, and the licenses and permissions you grant under them, in whole or in part, including in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets; you may not assign them. Any ideas, suggestions, or feedback you send us may be used freely, without obligation to you. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Palabud about the service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. A failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of it.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post and that your content does not violate anyone else's rights or the law. Palabud may, but is not obliged to, monitor, moderate, or remove content.
